ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEERS
We look for fresh, new talent to compliment the skilled engineers already at EFI. Design engineers hold a minimum of a bachelor’ degree and have demonstrated hands on experience developing new products. EFI’s engineers are equipped with computer aided design tools to efficiently and effectively develop new products. Computerized solid modeling tools allow the engineers to visualize the end product, while reducing costs and design time.
TEST TECHNICIAN
EFI prides itself in the commitment to product performance and safety. Technicians are surrounded with state-of-the-art test equipment, including the “Lightning Lab” which allows the technicians to perform high energy tests up to 250,000 amps. The high energy testing simulate worst case scenarios to improve product safety and performance. EFI is proud to be an approved UL Laboratory. Test technicians hold a minimum of an associate’s degree and has proven experience in test labs or technical support in a manufacturing environment.
SUMMER POSITIONS
We have several positions open for those individuals looking to earn an income during school breaks with an opportunity to learn manufacturing. We are looking for dependable individuals interested in working hard and being rewarded for their efforts.
ASSEMBLY
All assembly positions require a minimum of 1-2 years related experience and high school diploma or equivalent. Strong work ethic and attention to detail is required.
Electronic Assembly:
* Soldering skills
* Hand stuff electronic components
* Read Bills of Materials
* Quality oriented
* Some rework of PCBA’s (PWBA’s)
Mechanical Assembly:
* Lots of product build variation (attention to detail)
* Read assembly instructions
* Flexible to working in other areas
* Soldering experience is a plus
