The Square D SDSA1175 is a single phase, Type 1 Surge Protective Device (SPD) that provides lightning and surge suppression. Designed for service entrance/branch panel protection, the SDSA1175 can be used in lightning and high current areas such as antennas and parking lot lighting. These devices may also be used as surge suppression for irrigation pumps, oil pumps and motors. SDSA1175 SPDs are also ideal for OEM’s, residential retrofit, and multi-unit construction projects.
- Maintenance-free, Long-life. A non-replaceable internal fuse link provides suppression against varistor-damaging sustained voltages. The housing is made of a Type 4X thermoplastic to ensure reliability in indoor and outdoor applications.
- Metal Oxide Varistor Design. The field-proven MOV design provides response time less than 50 nanoseconds and provides lower clamping voltage than traditional gas tube arresters.
- Mounting Brackets. Two unique mounting brackets are available to make mounting easy for OEM and multi-metering applications
- LED Status Indicator The LED status indicator provides an easy visual indication of the device’s operational status
- UL and cUL Listed. Listed to UL 1449 Third Edition as a Type 1 Surge Protective Device.
- ANSI and IEEE Approved. ANSI and IEEE approved for use in category C locations. For use on grounded systems only.
